The TURBO-REFLEX partnership consists of 26 partners from nine different countries, including core representatives of the European Turbine Industry and leading european universities and research institutes.
Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems Europe, Ltd. (MHPSE) is the European subsidiary of Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. (MHPS), established on 1st February 2014. MHPSE is a thermal power generation systems company jointly established by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd. and Hitachi Ltd., aiming to be No1 in the world in the thermal power generation systems market. MHPSE has subsidies and more than 10 offices in Europe approx. 1,700 staff is on the company's payroll (as of October 2016). and apart from being a Gas Turbine OEM, designs and constructs thermal power plants as well. MHPSE supplies and provides services of our advanced energy technologies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
MHPS-UK, as original equipment manufacturer, drives the technical evaluation work of WP1 and 2 for the development of the “storage ready gas turbine” concept. In addition, it contributes in the work of WP5 where the ‘’storage ready gas turbine’’ concept will be evaluated on a plant level, and the economic implications of the technology will be accessed.
