Naturgy is a leading multinational energy services group whose activities include generation, supply, distribution and commercialization of both natural gas and electricity. Naturgy has business operations in more than 30 countries supplying energy related services to more than 23 million customers. With respect to electricity generation, the installed capacity of the company is 15.47GW, of which a diversified mix of which 9.3GW are Combined Cycles Gas Turbine plants, making the company one of the biggest combined cycle operators in the world. Naturgy has a very broad experience in R&D Projects in all the business areas. Naturgy participated recently in the European projects CAPWA and Smartburn.

Role in the project

Naturgy is actively involved in WP5 looking at the whole plant performance and works collaboratively on technology assessments with the other industry partners. Naturgy leads T5.3 on the economic assessment for the impact of TURBO-REFLEX project on performance of primarily the CCGT power plants, but also OCGT and Steam Cycle and Aero Derivative power plants power plants. Naturgy is a member of the EB.
