GE Power (Switzerland) GmbH is the largest legal entity in Switzerland of General Electric, a world-leading supplier of products and services in the area of power generation, healthcare, transport and infrastructure. The business GE Power Services offers sales, tendering, engineering, research & development, project management and commissioning activities for a range of thermal power technologies, especially for gas turbines, steam turbines, combined cycle power plants, power services and retrofit. GE Power Services is actively involved in a number of customer and development projects targeting the improvement of the operational flexibility of conventional and combined cycle power plants. It also has a record of successfully completed plant upgrades addressing minimum load capability, start-up behaviour, and load gradients of the installed base in Europe and worldwide.

Role in the project

GE Power Services provides with its ongoing operational flexibility product development the right partner to co-develop with GE Germany new analytic products as specified in WP4 “online plant analytics and monitoring” and to support GE Germany in the execution of WP5 “whole plant performance” with its experience in plant modelling, condition based maintenance and other digital products.
