Role in the project

AEN is the work package leader for WP1 and a partner both in WP2 and in WP5. AEN activities are devoted to new cooling schemes (WP2) and to an optimized design for bleed-off extraction for a multistage compressor (WP1); AEN will contribute to requirements definition for the whole engine performance as foreseen in WP5. AEN works in close partnership with all the other partners, with colleagues from AES and relevant universities. The interpretation of project outcome will be carried out under the frame of the assessment committees which will be established as a management tool of the project.
